1 out of every 5 people in the United Kingdom and 1 out of every 6 people in the United States over the age of 60, suffer some form of elder abuse each year. Physical and mental abuse, neglect, mismedication, malnutrition and financial abuse affect millions of people in the developed world.
Yet, with access to the best care in the world, the so-called “Silent Generation” (born 1928 to 1946) is facing an epidemic of abuse received in nursing or residential care homes, retirement or assisted living facilities, and through home health care providers who are focused on the incredible profits generated by “warehousing” the elderly and defrauding the government and insurance providers.
Silent is a documentary focused on elder care companies in the US and UK, accused by employees and the family members of elderly victims, of some form of systemic abuse.
At Told You So Media, we want to thank everyone who connected with us through our vox populi and whistleblower websites, like this one, to tell us their own stories.
We are in production and filming in the US has started.
All contributors or subjects should have received information about filming. If you have contributed your story and have not received either a letter in the post or an email inviting you to participate on camera, please let us know.
Meanwhile, all of the subject agencies and facilities that we investigated continue to operate, even while many are under investigation in their own locale.
• Elite Care LLC, operated by Eli Kohn is unlicensed and uninsured, counter to the laws of New York State.
• Elite Care continues to advertise that they provide services that require a license.
• Elite Care continues to advertise that the employees are licensed nurses and have received the training required by New York State.
• Elite Care continues to hire care providers that are untrained and uninsured, placing both the employees and the elderly in extreme danger.
Because the danger to the public continues, we will continue to leave the information about Elite Care live below. If you are considering using this agency or any elderly care facility, please check their licensure, ask for their insurance information, and verify the credentials of people placed in your loved one’s home.
Thank you again, Naimh

Elite Care LLC is NOT a licensed, certified home care services agency. If they were, the Elite Care LLC entry would be there between “Elim" and “Elite HHC.” But it isn’t, because Elite Care is NOT licensed.
Elite Home Health Care LLC is a legitimate, licensed, reputable company completely unaffiliated with Eli and Victoria Kohn and Elite Care LLC.
This is a screenshot of the NY Government’s LTHHC (Long Term Home Health Care Providers) registry. You can check for yourself on the link.
Elite Care LLC is NOT a licensed, certified long term home care provider agency. If they were, the Elite Care LLC entry would be there between “Community Health Center" and “Family Care Certified Services.” But it isn’t, because Elite Care is NOT licensed.
Elite Care is NOT licensed to conduct business as a home health care agency in New York, despite advertising for over a decade, that the company is licensed.
This is from the NYS Home Care Agency website:
2. ELITE CARE DOESN'T MEET THE BASIC REQUIREMENTS TO RUN A HOME HEALTH CARE BUSINESS
THE KOHN’S DON'T MEET THE BASIC LEGAL REQUIREMENTS TO RUN A HOME HEALTH CARE AGENCY
In New York, a home health care agency must be managed by a licensed, registered health care professional.
Neither Eli Kohn or Victoria Kohn are health care professionals. Neither are licensed or certified. Neither are registered with the state.
No one else can be a licensed, registered health care provider, managing and overseeing Elite Care(s) because Elite Care(s) is not a licensed, legal agency. see above.

In New York, a home health care agency must be managed by a licensed, registered health care professional. Neither Eli Kohn nor his wife Victoria have the required licensure to legally operate a home health care agency.
3. DESPITE THE CLAIMS ON THEIR WEBSITE, ELITE CARE DOESN'T EMPLOY LICENSED NURSES OR HOME-HEALTH AIDES
Above is a screenshot taken directly from the Elite Cares website: http://www.elitecares.com/companion-care.html
From the Elite Care website:
We searched the names of every care provider we found, those who contacted us to describe their employment issues, those we found on social media, and those whose details we gained from the families who used Elite Care services. Not one is in the above database as being licensed or registered. NOT ONE!
4. ELITE CARE HAS NO BOND AND NO INSURANCE
For the protection of staff and clients in their care, by law, a legal, licensed and registered home health care company, like Elite Care LLC claims to be, is required to carry insurance and be bonded.
Because Elite Care LLC isn’t licensed, they can't get bonded or insured.
That means that unlicensed, "care providers" who haven't been vetted or verified have access to your loved ones and their home and property.
Elite Care has no insurance to cover damages or injuries that may be caused by their unlicensed staff.
5. ELITE CARE LLC PREYS ON THE JEWISH PEOPLE
Elite Care and Eli Kohn advertise exclusively in Jewish newspapers, including the Five Towns Jewish Times. In these advertisments and paid-for articles, Kohn lies about licensing, insurance, and the experience, licensing, and trustworthiness of the people Elite Care is sending into the homes of the elderly.
In the opinion of many of those interviewed, Eli Kohn specifically preys on his community because of the principle of “lashon hara.” Lashon hara prevents Jewish people from speaking ill of another person, even if what they would say is true. This means that victims are prevented from discussing Elite Care’s illegality or any abuse a loved one suffers, for fear of being shamed in their community.
